GERRY — A town resident has been charged with endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree harassment after an incident late Friday.

Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to a report of a disorderly person inside a residence on Route 60 just before midnight. Upon arrival and investigation, it was discovered that Drake F. Ottaway, 19, had struck a juvenile subject during an altercation.

Ottaway was charged and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail for Centralized Arraignment.
