GOWANDA — Gowanda Central Schools has announced a phased-in return to in-person instruction.

In a letter from Superintendent Dr. Robert Anderson, he notes a return to school for all grade eight students on March 22 with a March 29 return for seniors at the high school and certain elementary school pupils from prekindergarten to grade four.

“There are temperature and health screenings performed each day, personal protective equipment available, and cleaning/disinfecting procedures in place,” he wrote. “We have all worked diligently so that our safety plan is followed as outlined in our reopening plan.”

Those returning will be in classes four days each week with Wednesday being a remote day.
