Area police agencies were searching for an individual tied to an incident at a location this morning on Central Avenue in the city of Dunkirk. According to preliminary reports, a weapon may have been shown by the individual, but no one was injured. Police from Dunkirk, Fredonia and University Police were on the scene at Brigham Road searching for the suspect. Added patrols have been requested around the State University of New YOrk at Fredonia. Officials called it an “ongoing investigation.”
