JAMESTOWN — A Dunkirk man was charged with second-degree criminal contempt by the State Police at Jamestown after an incident Thursday.

Troopers report Karl Ortiz Martinez, 23, was pulled over on Route 60 in Jamestown for a traffic violation. An investigation revealed that there was a stay-away order of protection directing Ortiz Martinez to avoid all contact with a 2-year-old passenger.
