CHARLOTTE –Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies responded to an altercation in the town on Sunday afternoon around 4. Upon arrival and investigation it was found that Michael P. Austin, 40, of Charlotte had obstructed the breathing of an individual during an altercation.

Austin was charged with criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation. Austin was remanded to Chautauqua County Jail for Centralized Arraignment.
