A Jamestown man faces an additional charge in the Friday accident that killed a 15-year-old Jamestown girl.

Randall Rolison, 58, was charged Tuesday with leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident involving a death. The charge is a Class D felony. Rolison was taken into custody Tuesday and taken to the Chautauqua County Jail without bail after being arraigned on the new charge. A preliminary hearing was held Wednesday in Jamestown City Court before Judge John LaMancuso, who ruled there was reasonable cause to believe a crime was committed and to send the case for action by a Grand Jury. Rolison was then taken back to the Chautauqua County Jail without bail.

The investigation is continuing, and Jamestown police said in a news release that additional charges are possible pending the results of a toxicology test on Rolison’s blood that were submitted to the New York State Police Crime Lab in Albany.

Rolison was charged Friday with driving while ability impaired by drugs and leaving the scene of a personal injury accident.
