FREWSBURG — A Chautauqua County coroner has been called to the scene of a structure fire this morning in Frewsburg, Sheriff James Quattrone confirmed. The blaze at a West Main Street residence was reported around 7:30 a.m.

Interior firefighters from numerous departments were sought to battle the fire. Around 8 a.m., an evacuation order for all crews inside was issued.

By 8:30 a.m., county fire investigators were called to the scene.

A portion of Main Street in the hamlet was closed to traffic due to the fire.
