Vice President Kamala Harris will be in Buffalo Saturday for the funeral of mass shooting victim Ruth Whitfield, according to numerous news sources.

Whitfield, 86, was the oldest of 10 people killed in the racially motivated murders at a supermarket. She has numerous relatives in Chautauqua County, many of whom attend Friendship Baptist Church in Dunkirk, according to the church’s pastor, the Rev. Early Waller.

Harris will reportedly be accompanied by her husband, Doug Emhoff. They will also meet with families of other victims of the shootings.
