Route 20 is closed in the Town of Pomfret after a rollover accident around noon, just to the west of Harmon Hill Road. Westbound traffic was getting diverted onto that road and a driver said Route 20 eastbound traffic was getting diverted near Brocton. A helicopter was said to be on the way for a victim of the crash. The accident reportedly downed power lines and numerous National Grid trucks were on the scene. The Fredonia Fire Department and the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Department were among the emergency responders.
