Woman charged for impaired driving with infant in vehicle

A 35-year-old Jamestown woman who police say was driving impaired with an infant in the vehicle is facing a host of charges.

Brandi C. Bartlow was stopped by sheriff’s deputies at 12:54 p.m. Friday on Route 60 in the town of Ellicott for an equipment violation. In a news release, the Sheriff’s Office said Bartlow was determined to be “operating her vehicle while impaired by drugs” and was taken into custody.

At the time of the traffic stop, Bartlow had an infant child as a passenger.

Bartlow was processed and is scheduled to appear in Ellicott Town Court later on charges of driving while ability impaired by drugs, aggravated driving while ability impaired by drugs with a child less than 16 years old, endangering the welfare of a child, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, broken windshield, unregistered motor vehicle, improper plates and operating without insurance.
