Mayville man facing strangulation charge
MAYVILLE — A village resident is facing charges after an altercation at a residence.
Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies report at about 2:15 p.m. Thursday, Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies responded an incident. After an investigation, it was found that during an altercation with another individual Daniel D. Stewart, 28, allegedly used a choke hold causing minor injuries to a victim. Stewart was charged with second-degree strangulation and brought to the county jail for centralized arraignment.
