Jamestown teen charged in narcotics investigation

A 17-year-old male is facing several narcotics-related charges after police searched a city residence this week.

Jamestown police say an investigation led to the execution of a search warrant at 1:37 p.m. Wednesday at 27 Stowe St.

Inside, an underage male was located along with 13.9 grams of crack cocaine, 29.1 grams of methamphetamine and 648.9 grams of cannabis along with scales and $4,821.

The youth was transported to the Jamestown Police Department Juvenile Bureau. In a news release, police said he’s facing charges of fourth-degree criminal possession of cannabis, second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia and two counts each of third- and fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance through Chautauqua County Youth Part Court.

The Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force was assisted by Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office narcotics investigators, Jamestown Police SWAT Team, Ellicott Police Department, Jamestown Police patrol division, Dunkirk Police Department, Jamestown Police K-9, Sheriff’s Office K-9, Chautauqua County Emergency Services and the Jamestown Fire Department.
