ASHVILLE — No one was injured in a blaze late Sunday in the south county.

At around 10:04 p.m. the Ashville Fire Department and several mutual aid fire departments responded to the report of a structure fire at 4926 Stoneledge Road. After extinguishing the fire, the Chautauqua County Fire Investigation Team was requested to the scene to conduct a cause and origin fire investigation.

The investigation found the cause of the fire was due to an overloaded electrical power strip inside the residence.

Departments from Lakewood, Chautauqua County EMS, Busti and Panama also assisted at the scene.
