BROCTON -- A village resident has been charged after narcotics investigators from Chautauqua County along with the assistance of the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office and Sheriff’s Office SWAT, city of Dunkirk Police Department and City of Jamestown Police Department K-9, executed a search warrant at 111 Peerless St.
As a result of the search at noon Tuesday, investigators found 14.13 grams of methamphetamine, scales and packaging material for the sale and distribution of methamphetamine and $528 in U.S.currency.
Benjamin L. Reed, 38, was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia. Reed was transported to the Centralized Arraignment Program at the Chautauqua County Sheriffás Office Jail.
The town of Portland olrdinance cfficer was called to the residence for an inspection. As a result of the inspection, the residence was condemned.
