South county man charged in neighbor dispute
Bryan E. Bobe
LAKEWOOD — Police have released more information regarding a neighbor dispute last week in the village that resulted in a firearm being discharged.
Lakewood-Busti police charged Bryan E. Bobe, 34, of Lakewood, with criminal possession of a weapon, reckless endangerment, endangering the welfare of a child and disorderly conduct.
Officers were alerted the morning of June 21 to a shooting incident between neighbors in the village. The exact location of the dispute was not disclosed by police, though the department said in a news release Thursday that Bobe allegedly “retrieved a handgun from a car and discharged the handgun near and around the household.”
What led to the dispute also was not mentioned.
No one was injured in the shooting, Lakewood-Busti police said.
Bobe was arraigned on the charges and released.
