A winter storm watch is in effect from late Saturday to Monday morning. The National Weather Service says to expect heavy snow possible with total snow accumulations of 5 to 8

inches. Winds could gust as high as 45 mph with areas of blowing snow at times.

Greatest snow accumulations will mainly be across higher terrain, with less snow on Interstate 90 and the immediate lakeshore.

Travel could be very difficult. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning commute.

Also on Sunday, Daylight Savings Time begins. Don’t forget to move your clocks ahead one hour before going to bed.
