Missing child located, adult charged with endangerment
SHERIDAN – A Sheridan resident has been charged with endangerment after a missing child was located.
At about 11:50 a.m., Chautauqua County Sheriff deputies and the State Police responded to a residence in the town of Sheridan for a report of a missing 11 year old child. After a lengthy search, the child was found safely.
As a result, Ashley Jo Carlson, 36, was issued an appearance ticket and charged with endangering the welfare of a child. She will answer to the charge in Sheridan Town Court.
