A pair of city residents are facing shoplifting charges.

On Monday at 4:16 p.m., Dunkirk Police officers responded to Dollar Tree at 327 Main St. for a shoplifting that had occurred. After an investigation it was discovered Kevin Y. Dejesus-Rivera, 33, of 135 Hoyt St. and Christina A. Marrero, 36, of 6 W. Courtney St., stole property from the store. On Tuesday, both were located and issued appearance tickets for petit larceny. They are due in court on June 2.
