A man was charged with second-degree criminal contempt after a reported trespass on Main Street at East Fourth in the city.

At 3:19 p.m. Wednesday, Dunkirk Police responded to a reported incident. The caller reported Thomas Majkowski, 49, was violating a valid stay away order of protection by coming into the caller’s workplace.

Majkowski was located a short time later across the street. He was taken into custody, processed, issued an appearance ticket and turned over to the New York State Police on an outstanding warrant.
