Rescue crews from the North East Fire Department, Chautauqua County Emergency Services and Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Department were at the Barcelona Harbor Pier on Tuesday evening searching for a possible missing kayaker on Lake Erie. Officials say the call came in after 5:30 p.m. Officials also were calling in the Coast Guard to help in the search. At least three rescue boats were part of the mission.
