Fredonia’s Democratic nominees were winners during Tuesday’s primary.

Unofficial results showed both Christine Cruz-Keefe and LeeAnn Lazarony as the winners for the two open trustee seats, defeating Michelle Twichell, an incumbent who failed to receive the party’s endorsement.

This year, the village of Fredonia increased taxes 56% and continued to debate its water supplier and the future of its reservoir.
