Three juveniles will be facing charges after the theft of a motor vehicle this weekend.

Dunkirk police reported Thursday, the youth allegedly stole the car from the 700 block of Deer Street around midnight Sunday. The juveniles and the car were located by the Erie County Sheriff’s Department in the Town of Brant shortly after 2 a.m. The juveniles were identified and arraigned on charges in Erie County. Subsequently, the three were charged with third-degree grand larceny by the city Police Department.

Two juveniles, 16, will answer the charges in the youth portion of County Court while the third juvenile, 14, will be in Chautauqua County Family Court.
