An inmate has been charged after an investigation into a physical altercation on an employee with the Chautauqua County Jail.
The Criminal Investigation Division of Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Department determined that Lawrence A. Gibbons, 48, of Jamestown, struck a correction officer in the face and jaw. Gibbons was charged with second-degree assault and appeared for the Centralized Arraignment Process.
