Pair charged with illegally having firearms

SILVER CREEK — A gunshot incident Wednesday has led to charges for a pair of individuals. Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies report they responded to a gunshot complaint in the village of Silver Creek around 3:09 p.m.
Upon further investigation it was found that Tyler G. Crouse, 34, of Silver Creek, and Lucille M. Macri, 34, of Hamburg, were alleged to be illegally in possession of two loaded firearms, with one of the firearms later being found that it was reported stolen out of the state of Pennsylvania. Crouse also fled the scene and was later taken into custody after a brief foot pursuit.
He was transported to Brooks Memorial Hospital and treated for minor injuries before being released and later transported to the Chautauqua County Jail for arraignment. Macri was also transported to Chautauqua County Jail for arraignment.
Crouse was charged with two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon , second-degree criminal contempt, fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and resisting arrest. Macri was charged with two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon and fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. Both Crouse and Macri were remanded under the centralized arraignment at Chautauqua County Jail.
