To assist and support the community during the ongoing boil-water order, the village of Fredonia is distributing free bottled water to residents twice today.

The first distribution will be at the Fredonia Fire Department at 80 W. Main St. from noon to 2 p.m. Motorists are asked to arrive to the event via Canadaway Street from Water Street then exit on to Main Street. The second distribution is from 6 to 8 p.m. at the same location.

Proof of residency is required and officials ask that if you are picking up for a neighbor, bring their proof of residency as well.

If residents are picking up for a neighbor, they must bring their proof of residency too.
