Dunkirk man facing multiple drug charges

A Dunkirk man is facing multiple drug charges following an investigation into narcotics activity in the city.

On Tuesday, around 4 p.m. a search warrant was executed by the Dunkirk Police Department and narcotics investigators at 147 Nevins St.

Located at the residence at the time of the search warrant was 33-year-old Samuel I. Camacho III.

As a result of the search investigators said they seized 7.92 grams of fentanyl, 24 dosage units of Suboxone, scales and packaging material for the distribution of narcotics and $1,183 in U.S. currency.

Camacho was charged with third- and fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia.

Camacho was transported to the Dunkirk Police Department where he was arraigned in the City of Dunkirk Court.
