Dunkirk police arrested a man after he allegedly tried to run his ex-girlfriend off the road.

Police took a walk-in complaint at about 12:30 p.m. Thursday for a female who stated that her ex-boyfriend, Jorge Davila Jr., 36, had just attempted to run her off the road and chase her. Davila had an order of protection directing him to stay away from the woman.

Davila was taken into custody on two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and single counts of first-degree criminal contempt and second-degree reckless endangerment. He was arraigned and released to appear in court at a later date.
