Dunkirk men facing drug charges

A pair of city residents are facing drug charges.
On Wednesday, narcotics investigators executed a search warrant at 431 Columbus St., upper apartment, in the city of Dunkirk. This was the second search warrant executed at this location in the past four months, authorities said Monday.
Investigators from Dunkirk Police Department, the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, and Jamestown Police Department executed the search warrant with Dunkirk Police Special Response Team making the entry. As a result of the search Investigators seized 2 grams of cocaine, 12.15 grams of crack cocaine, 1.5 grams of fentanyl, a quantity of pills, scales and packaging material for the distribution of narcotics and $1,980. Charged was Larry Brooks Jr., 37, with third-, fourth and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and first-degree using drug paraphernalia. Norman I. Geddis, 55, was charged with third-, fourth- and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia. Both were transported to the Dunkirk Police Department to be arraigned in the City of Dunkirk Court.
