Sinclairville man charged after use of shotgun in dispute
SINCLAIRVILLE — A village man is facing charges after discharging a shotgun during an altercation.
Around 11:34 p.m. Saturday, the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office and New York State Police responded to an address on Main Street. Upon arrival, units learned that the male was identified as 28-year-old William F. Borkowski Jr. and had fled the scene. After a thorough investigation units had located Borkowski a short time later and took him into custody without issue. He was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, second-degree criminal use of a firearm, first-degree reckless endangerment and second-degree menacing.
He was transported to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office for arraignment. He will return to the town of Charlotte court later.
