Chautauqua County EMS, Emergency Services, Portland, Brocton and Westfield Fire Department responded to a call of an individual going through the ice near 6037 Route 5 at a pond Saturday afternoon. The call came in around 12:18 p.m. and the individual was rescued. The location was near a mobile home park. Saturday’s 40 degree temperatures will fall to 24 degrees Sunday with a low of 10 on Sunday night.
