Gowanda man facing lewdness charges after fight
GOWANDA — A Gowanda man is facing public lewdness charges after a reported fight on Saturday in the village.
On Saturday, Troopers out of the State Police at Collins charged Benjamin M. Cole, 32 with first-degree public lewdness and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
At 8:36 p.m., troopers responded to the incident on South Water Street. An investigation determined that two young teens were walking on the sidewalk on Buffalo Street when an older male walked toward their direction with his genitals sticking out the front of his pants. The teens advised adults, and this started a confrontation. Troopers located the male suspect, Cole who was placed under arrest. He was issued a ticket for the Town of Collins Court on July 9.
