MAYVILLE – Chautauqua County Department of Finance Director Susan Marsh announced the new countywide worker’s compensation carrier will be POMCO Risk Management effective May 1.

Notice has been sent to all municipalities along with information to be distributed to their employees and volunteer fire departments. Claimants are encouraged to notify their physicians and/or pharmacist about the change.

POMCO Risk Management will be handling all current and future Chautauqua County Worker’s Compensation claims and will contact active claimants. However, if you have a current claim and have questions do not hesitate to contact POMCO at 1-877-236-7475.

EBS-RMSCO, which was the County’s carrier for many years, has elected to exit the Third Party Administration business for Workers’ Compensation.
