14-year-old male points loaded shotgun at adult
ASHVILLE – A 14-year-old male was arrested after an incident with a shotgun at 1067 Blockville-Watts Flats Road in Ashville on Monday.
According to the New York State Police at Jamestown, around 11:30 a.m., the 14-year-old and a 15-year-old were walking through the woods behind the residence. An adult female was attempting to get their attention by yelling to them.
Once the 14-year-old made it to a clearing, he loaded a shotgun and then aimed the loaded shotgun directly at the adult female. Police said the female was placed in fear of her life. The 14- and 15-year-old juveniles were then found at the 14-year-old’s residence a short time later.
He was charged with second-degree menacing and will be referred to Chautauqua County Probation. His firearm was also seized.
