The old Sunset Bay Deli at the corner of Newton Street and South Shady Drive in the town of Hanover was demolished Tuesday. The beachfront restaurant was recently purchased by Sam Bova, the owner of the Sunset Bay Beach Club and Cabana Sam’s. According to Hanover Chamber of Commerce President Kelly Borrello, Bova is renovating the deli and plans to have it reopened by Memorial Day.
