WESTFIELD — Recently, Westfield Area Federal Credit Union members voted to merge with the North East Welch Federal Credit Union.

The merger went into effect after closing on April 21, and the first day of the new operations took place on Monday.

“We are excited about our new partnership and are looking forward to being able to continue to provide excellent service to our members, as well as provide some additional products and services,” a press release stated. “You will continue to see the same faces at the Westfield location. The Westfield branch office hours will be changing to 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday through Wednesday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday through Friday.”

Stop in to the Westfield office at 21 N. Portage St., Westfield on Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. as the merger is being celebrated. There will be light refreshments and a chance to win a $100 VISA gift card. Get entered to win just for stopping in.
