Two people were transported to Brooks Memorial Hospital after a two-vehicle accident at Route 60 and Vineyard Drive in the town of Dunkirk Monday, according to East Dunkirk Fire Chief Paul Miller. One person suffered possible head and neck injuries and was taken to the hospital for evaluation, while the other person suffered possibly serious arm injuries, Miller reported. The accident took place around 7 p.m. Crews were on scene for about an hour. Alstar Ambulance also responded to the scene. New York State Police were still investigating the incident at press time.
