Several injuries were reported after a Jeep struck a skid-steer loader in the town of Sherman on Friday.
A medical helicopter was summoned to the scene of the crash, which occurred after 5:30 p.m. on Route 430, near the Sherman Livestock Auction House. Ambulances from Sherman, Mayville, Chautauqua and Findley Lake were requested.
A landing zone was set up at the auction house. The severity of injuries wasn’t immediately known.
Two helicopters had been requested, but one was canceled.
Chautauqua County fire coordinators responded to the scene as well, according to county fire dispatch.
