Stockton man strangles, threatens victim with baseball bat

STOCKTON — Just before midnight on Monday, deputies responded to an assault at a residence on Bowers Road.

Upon further investigation it is alleged that Donald C. Fiebelkorn, 46, of Stockton, strangled an individual and threatened to kill the same individual with a baseball bat.

Fiebelkorn also intentionally damaged property of the individual and unplugged all of the phones in the house to prevent the individual from calling 911.

Fiebelkorn then fled the scene by taking that same individual’s vehicle without their permission. Fiebelkorn was located a few hours later and was found to be driving the vehicle with a suspended license and in an intoxicated state.

Fiebelkorn was charged with second-degree harassment, second-degree menacing, felony driving while intoxicated, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, third-degree criminal mischief and third-degree unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
