Cattaraugus County Museum announces summer program schedule
MACHIAS — The Cattaraugus County Museum, located in the Stone House, 9824 Route 16, Machias, has announced a number of summer programs.
Family Day at the Museum will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. It includes at 12:30 p.m.: WNY Fiddle Kids concert; at 2 p.m.: Wild Spirit Education presents “Birds of Prey; ” Blacksmith demonstrations all day and the Boy Scouts will be selling refreshments. This event is free and open to the public.
The schedule for the Summer at the Stone House series is as follows:
June 28: Phillip Payne – “World War I”
July 12: Dave Ruch – “Traditional Folk Music of NY Vol. II”
July 26 James Huntington – “Charles Huntington: Renaissance Man of Randolph”
Aug. 9: Della Moore – “The African American Center for Cultural Development”
Aug. 23: Allen Hopkins – “Music of the World Wars”
All Summer at the Stone House programs begin at 7 p.m. and are free and open tot he public.
