WNY Bully Breed Festival coming to Dunkirk

Along with Dunkirk Mayor Willie Rosas, James Cooper and Albert Lizcano are pleased to announce the First Annual Indoor/Outdoor Event with pipe and drape booths for an Expo Style Bully Breed Showcase here in their hometown, on Saturday, Aug. 11.

Becoming involved with a “bully breed dog” was not something that Albert Lizcano had thought much about until he was introduced to the American Bully Breed by a family member. “Getting to know this dog changed my life,” Lizcano said. He became the proud owner of his very own champion, LKB Phoenix!

“I have been all over the country with the “Bully Breeds” and am a proud owner of a champion show dog,” Albert Lizcano said. “We will be competing in Allentown, PA, on June 16 in both the champions and standard classes representing the City of Dunkirk, our hometown.”

Having a Bully Breed show in Dunkirk has been a long time dream of Albert Lizcano, “but it couldn’t have happened without the support of James Cooper,” Lizcano said. “Sharing this experience with our home town and the many friends of the Bully Breed is something that is close to my heart.”

The Bully Breed show will be in Dunkirk at the Fairgrounds on Aug. 11. Members of the ABKC and professional judges will be on hand to answer some of the many questions and dispel some of the myths about the Bully Breeds.

When asked about bringing the Western New York Bully Breed Festival to Dunkirk, Mayor Rosas said, “I am delighted to see the City of Dunkirk be host to this event. As a dog lover I appreciate the amount of time it takes to train and show these animals, and I encourage our residents to learn more about the Bully Breeds and to attend the festival on Aug. 11.”

The Bully Breed Festival will be with 4 ABKC Sanctioned Events – 2 Rings! Admission is $20 per person. Dogs are free, and children under the age of 12 are free also.

Contact James Cooper or Albert Lizcano for booth and other information at (518)947-4109 or (716)680-1913.

Starting at $3.50/week.
