Talks Toastmasters Club president coordinates speaking course
Ned Lindstrom, President of Chautauqua Talks Toastmasters Club, recently coordinated a speaking course to help visitors and members to improve their speaking skills. “Speaking skills are some of the best tools to communicate at work, in the community or with family and friends,” stated Lindstrom. Participants worked on the ability to organize thoughts and get the message across.
Lindstrom invites anyone who wishes to improve their speaking skills in the next six months to stop by Chautauqua Talks Toastmasters Club, 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 24 at the Jamestown Library, Fireplace Room. Lindstrom and the club planned and coordinated these sessions and is working on other avenues to present better speaking skill in near the future.
Loren Mayshark received the Certificate of Accomplishment for the six week training sessions presented by Urial Ben-Itzhak, VP Education and Lindstrom, President.
