Collins woman charged with drug possession

CONCORD — A vehicle found on the shoulder of Route 219 has led to drug charges for a Collins woman.

Erie County sheriff’s deputies report 38-year-old Nicole Jachim was found around 7 p.m. Tuesday. A deputy stopped to check on the status of a vehicle on the shoulder of the highway and discovered Jachim’s license had six active suspensions. She was taken into custody for unlicensed operation.

While inventorying the vehicle, the deputy discovered two Suboxone strips, a quantity of crack cocaine, and a crack pipe.

Jachim was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and a vehicle and traffic law violation. She was transported to the Erie County Holding Center on $1,000 bail and later released.
