Askia J. Faison

JAMESTOWN — Jamestown police have charged Askia J. Faison, 22, of Jamestown with first-degree assault in relation to a stabbing at 2:10 p.m. Aug. 14 at Baker Park, 402 W. Fourth St., Jamestown.

Police report Faison and another person had an argument and were fighting when the stabbing happened. Faison and the victim are allegedly known to each other, and police said the incident was not a random act of violence.
