Pennsylvania man charged after vehicle goes off road

CHERRY CREEK — A Pennsylvania man has been charged with drinking and driving after his vehicle went off a state road.

According to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, on Sunday at around 6:15 p.m. deputies were dispatched to a call of a vehicle off the roadway on Route 83 in the town of Cherry Creek. Upon arrival deputies found John P. Jason, 37 of Lansdale, Pa. to be operating a vehicle that had gone off the road and become lodged in the ditch. Jason was administered standard field sobriety tests and placed under arrest for DWI, DWI per se, and failure to keep right.

Jason was released with appearance tickets for town of Cherry Creek Court.
