More than 300 people attended the Third Annual “Skinner-Ville Summer Pig Out” which was held on Saturday, July 14 at the Chautauqua County Fireman’s Grounds in Stockton. The family event is organized in loving memory of Darlene Skinner by her children, Michael Skinner, Rosella Skinner, Christopher Skinner and Betty Jo Glazer. The family hosts the fundraiser each year to benefit the services of Chautauqua Hospice and Palliative Care as a way to keep a promise to their mother, who requested that they “gather every year and celebrate life.” Pictured from left are Chris Skinner, Betty Jo Glazer, Mike Skinner and BJ Buonaiuto, CHPC community events coordinator.
