The Dunkirk Labor Council has endorsed Sheriff Joseph Gerace for another term. Douglas Stock, president, said, “One of the reasons he was chosen is his strong record of bringing new innovative programs and grants, designed to help the people of Chautauqua County in numerous ways and no cost to the taxpayer.” Further, Stock stated, “He informed us of his new plans to keep the momentum and the progress of the Sheriff’s Department growing.

“Another very important aspect is his extensive and capable leadership as sheriff of our county,” Stock continued. “He is a proven leader, a proven administrator and highly regarded by law enforcement all across the state.

“We give our full support in his campaign endeavors,” Stock concluded. “No one else can improve the quality of our lives or do more for the citizens of Chautauqua County than our Sheriff Gerace.”
