City man arrested in burglary investigation

A city of Dunkirk man was arrested Friday on three felony charges stemming from a lengthy burglary investigation.
On July 30, 2018, a residential burglary in the First Ward area was reported to the Dunkirk Police Department. Based on a thorough investigation, arrest warrants were obtained in late August 2018 for 25-year-old Bryan Ramos. On Friday, those warrants were served on Ramos.
Ramos was charged with second-degree burglary, fourth-degree grand larceny and fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, all felonies. He is being held in the Chautauqua County Jail on $80,000 cash bail and $160,000 property bond pending a preliminary hearing in Dunkirk City Court.
