Charles Baker

MAYVILLE — A Mayville man has been taken into custody for alleged drug sales.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, Chautauqua County Court issued a Grand Jury Indictment warrant for 65-year-old Charles Baker on charges of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance.

Sheriffs deputies checked his residence at 5 Blanchard St. in Mayville and he was apprehended without incident.

Baker was sent to the county jail awaiting arraignment at County Court.
