Amish quilting class set for April 20 in Leon
Registration is open for the Amish Folk Ark Quilt Class.
LEON — On Saturday, April 20, an Amish Folk Art Quilt Class – Log Cabin Wall Hanging will be offered at the Leon Fire Hall, New Albion Road, Leon.
Enjoy an overview of the history and traditions surrounding the Log Cabin Design in the English and Amish World and the significance of the different colors.
The schedule is: coffee and donuts at 8:30 a.m. then sewing and quilting at 9 a.m. with the Amish ladies teaching! $40 includes a homemade lunch and all supplies to complete one project.
Registration is required. Come join the quilters in the heart of Amish Country!
