Silver Creek goes international again
Pictured are the students, chaperones and parents gearing up for another excursion out of the country! This year the students are headed to Spain under the direction of Albert VanDette, Spanish teacher at Silver Creek Central School. VanDette reintroduced the travel program at SCCS in 2008. Since then, he has accompanied students to France, Greece and Italy sometimes as a group leader, other times as a chaperone. Prior to working at Silver Creek VanDette has also accompanied students to Puerto Rico in 2000. This year’s itinerary was all in Spain, visiting the cities of Madrid, Seville, Cordoba, Fuengirola, Granada, Valencia and Madrid.
